Tune In! Glenn “Hurricane” Schwartz Is Back

It's been nearly two months since Glenn underwent double bypass surgery, but he's feeling great and ready to bring you the weather.

You've missed him and so have we, and now, after weeks of recovery and plenty of well wishes, NBC10 Chief Meteorologist Glenn "Hurricane" Schwartz is set to make his return to air today.

Yes, you read that right, Glenn is back, and you can catch him on NBC10 news reporting the weather at 4 and 6 p.m.

We snapped a nice picture of Glenn back in the weather center today and posted it on our Facebook page and the responsed has been overwhelming, so THANK YOU!

NBC10 cameras were right there with Glenn last week as Lankenau Hospital cardiologist Dr. James Burke gave him the okay to go back to work.

Glenn underwent double bypass heart surgery on April 25 after doctors discovered two blocked arteries, including the main artery supplying blood to his heart.

Dr. Burke says Glenn has recovered faster than most because he was in good physical shape before the surgery.

“I feel great,” said Glenn.

Glenn will continue with cardiac rehab three times a week while working part time with NBC10.
