A 3-year-old boy is in stable condition after being shot in the shoulder in Trenton.
Trenton Police Detective Lt. Stephen Varn tells the Trentonian the shooting occurred Thursday night around 8:15 along Exton Avenue in the West Ward neighborhood. The boy was outside when the gunfire struck him in the shoulder.
The Mercer County Shooting Response Team is investigating the incident. [[238427591, C]]
