At least one person was killed in a tractor trailer crash on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Chester County.
The tractor trailer crashed into the medium in the westbound lanes of the Turnpike in West Nantmeal Township Tuesday evening. The driver of the vehicle died in the accident. He or she has not yet been identified.
Westbound lanes were closed between the Downingtown and Morgantown exits for several hours. They were reopened shortly after midnight.
Officials continue to investigate the accident.
