A toddler is in the hospital after an accident in the Kensington section of the city.
It happened at the intersection of Frankford Avenue and Sergeant Street around 7:50 p.m. Police say a 2-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle. A witness who claims he pulled the boy from under the car spoke with NBC10.
The child was taken to the hospital where police say he is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say the incident was not a hit-and-run and the driver stayed on the scene.
