Tips Lead to Del. Couple's Arrest in 8 Burglaries

Police say the couple was allegedly sleeping inside one of the homes they burglarized

Lindsey Iglesias, 26, of Lewes, and Lee Brooks, 29, of Rehoboth, face 76 charges, including burglary, theft, and conspiracy, according to Delaware State Police.

The couple was arrested Tuesday morning, after residents within the Donovan Smith mobile home park called police to report a suspicious couple in the area.

After being taken into custody, Iglesias and Brooks were linked to a burglary on Grandview Street in the mobile home park, according to police, and were allegedly sleeping and staying in the unoccupied residence.

Upon further investigation, the couple was connected with a total of 8 burglaries that happened inside the Donovan Smith mobile home park, detectives said.

The couple allegedly made away with flat screen televisions, video game systems, and other property.

Iglesias has been released on $47,850 unsecured bond.

Brooks remains at the Sussex Correctional Institution.
