Teen Killed in Drive-By Shooting

Police say a teen was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting in the Overbrook section of the city Saturday.

The shooting happened at a home located at 905 North 64th Street around 4 p.m. Family members say Tremaine Rogers, 18, was in the back of the home when a car pulled up and opened fire. Rogers was shot once in the back. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say Rogers’ brother and three other friends were standing near the sidewalk during the incident but were not injured. The gunman left the scene.

Investigators are not sure if the victim was targeted.
