Authorities in Camden allege a teenager is responsible for an unsolved homicide last year.
The 16-year-old suspect was charged with murder Thursday in juvenile court. Authorities say he fatally shot 40-year-old Michael Haller on Oct. 16 during a robbery attempt.
Officials say the suspect was already in youth detention on an unrelated charge.
Haller was among the city's record-setting 67 homicide victims in 2012. The Riverside man was gunned down in a grassy area in North Camden.
Prosecutors are seeking more information from witnesses, who are eligible to receive a $1,000 reward if the suspect is convicted or pleads guilty.
