A southwestern Pennsylvania woman will spend eight to 16 years in prison for sexually assaulting one of her teenage daughter's male friends at their home.
The (Washington) Observer-Reporter said 48-year-old Tracy Lynn Kennedy, of Waynesburg, was sentenced last week. She had previously been convicted of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and other crimes for an incident on Oct. 28, 2013.
That's when the 15-year-old boy visited the woman's home with his girlfriend and was invited into another room by Kennedy, who performed a sex act.
Police say Kennedy at first denied anything occurred, then claimed the incident was consensual.
The boy's mother reported the incident after he came home crying.
Kennedy's defense attorney says she was a lonely woman who had not been in a relationship for a decade.
