Robber Stabs Man 9 Times Over $20: Police

A man is recovering after police say he was stabbed nine times during a robbery in Philadelphia.

The 24-year-old man was on the 4900 block of Arch Street around 3 p.m. Monday when a suspect stabbed him seven times in the back and twice in the stomach before stealing $20 and fleeing the scene. 

The victim was taken to Mercy Hospital and then transported to Presbyterian Hospital where he is currently in stable condition. 

No arrests have been made. Police continue to investigate.
