2 Rescued After Out-of-Control Car Rolls Into Lake in South Jersey

Crews rescued two people who got trapped in a car that rolled into a lake in South Jersey early Saturday morning.

The incident happened about 3:45 a.m. at S. Park Drive and N. Vineyard Boulevard in Collingswood.

The car somehow lost control and rolled into the Cooper River Lake. Half of the car sank below the surface.

Emergency crews were called to the scene and rescued the two occupants from the car. The two were evaluated at the scene.

It was not immediately known what caused the car to end up in the lake.
