Not one, but two chances for snow this week. Monday, however, only rain showers and those mostly fell at the Jersey Shore and southern Delaware. Other neighborhoods could even see some sunshine Monday. Tuesday, however, will be a different story.

Northeasterly winds will help keep temperatures from climbing much Monday and will actually make it feel colder.

Colder air is on the way this week, but fortunately not nearly as cold as what Super Bowl fans will experience in Minneapolis.
Two rounds of cold will give us two chances of seeing some snow this week in the Philadelphia region.
The light snow falling in Michigan Monday morning will be moving into our area Tuesday

This will be a weak system only capable of light snow for our area. During the morning commute Tuesday, the system will likely be to our west.

Later in the morning and into early afternoon, we'll be tracking the light snow, so light that temperatures are expected to climb. This will make any light accumulation more likely on the grass than on roads and sidewalks.
Light snow showers could linger into the evening commute.
By the time Tuesday's system moves offshore, most areas will be looking at under an inch of accumulation.

Sunshine returns Wednesday and we'll get a warm-up Thursday. Late Thursday, rain arrives that could change over to light snow Friday morning. Then yet another system arrives Super Bowl Sunday into Monday.
