Skeleton Found Near Mall May be Foul Play Victim

The York coroner says human remains found last week near a shopping mall are those of a white man in his 30s or 40s and were likely at the location for three to 10 years.

The York Dispatch reported that Coroner Barry Bloss said Monday the human skeleton may have been at the site near West Manchester Mall for even more than a decade.

Bloss isn't sure what caused the death.

Police tell the newspaper some of the evidence recovered from the scene makes them consider the death to be suspicious.

Tree-trimmers discovered the body last week in a brushy area near the mall, just northwest of York. Authorities haven't been able to match the remains with any missing local people.
