Sink Hole Closes Northeast Philly Road for Second Time

A section of Knights road near Chalfont Drive in Northeast Philadelphia was shut down Friday morning after a large sink hole opened up.

The large hole, showing water flowing inside could be seen from SkyForce10 just before 6 a.m.

Surrounding homes were left without water service as crews worked to fix the problem.

Neighbors told NBC10 the same section of the road had just opened Thursday following repairs from an earlier water main break.
