A woman was shot during an apparent robbery in Northeast Philadelphia's Wissinoming section early Monday morning.
Police said the victim was on Charles Street near Cheltenham Avenue about 6 a.m. when she was shot in the upper body. She was taken to Aria-Torresdale Hospital for treatment. Her condition was not immediately known.
Police are investigating the shooting.
