Man Shot Driving Minivan in North Philadelphia

Police are investigating the shooting of a man while he was driving a minivan in Philadelphia early Wednesday morning.

The shooting happened about 12:15 a.m. in the 2800 block of N. Stillman Street in North Philadelphia.

While driving the van, investigators say the suspect was shot in the left thigh. He then drove himself to the 2700 block of Chalmers Avenue to escape the gunfire.

He was taken to Temple University Hospital in stable condition.

Investigators said they found a gun in the victim’s car.

So far, no arrests have been made and a motive remains under investigation.
