Child-Sex Trial for Former Pennsylvania Museum Head Delayed Again

The child-sex trial of the former chief executive officer of the Boal Mansion Museum has been postponed again.

Sixty-six-year-old Christopher G. Lee has been jailed since October on federal charges he enticed a 17-year-old girl to cross state lines to have sex with him on the museum's premises, where students from around the world work as volunteer guides.

He was supposed to stand trial in April, but that had been postponed until Monday after charges were added in March that he created child pornography and tried to destroy unspecified evidence on a cellphone.

Now, a federal judge in Williamsport has again pushed the trial back until July 6 at the request of federal prosecutors.

The homestead museum about 140 miles east of Pittsburgh commemorates the family which founded the Farmers High School, which eventually became Penn State University.
