SEPTA Bus, School Bus Collide

Nearly two dozen people were checked out for injuries after a SEPTA bus collided with a school bus near SEPTA’s Olney Transportation Center Monday morning.

There were no children on the small yellow school bus when it collided with a Route L bus at Park Street and Olney Avenue shortly after 6 a.m.

No children were on the bus but there were three adults on board. There were around 20 passengers and a driver on the SEPTA bus, said SEPTA.

Thirteen SEPTA riders were checked out for minor and non-life-threatening injuries, said SEPTA.

No word yet on what caused the wreck.
