Seeking Peace in Philly

After recent years of unprecedented levels of violence, city and law enforcement officials say they’ve seen a significant drop in reported homicides in Philadelphia so far this year.

Philadelphia musicians gathered Monday night at La Salle University for a performance called “Yo! Put the gun down!” The event was coordinated with Oronde McClain, a gun violence victim who advocates for other victims of gun violence.
