Man Secretly Records Girls Inside NJ Target, Police Say

Witnesses told police they spotted the unidentified man recording the girls inside the Target back on Feb. 7.

Police are searching for a man accused of recording several underage girls with his cellphone inside a Target store in Voorhees, New Jersey.

Witnesses told police they spotted the unidentified man recording the girls inside the Target back on Feb. 7.

A woman, who did not want to be identified, told NBC10 she was with her two young daughters in the medicine aisle of the Target when a man rudely walked in front of her and the pharmacist. She didn’t realize at the time that the man may have been recording the girls. She later learned about the incident when she viewed surveillance video posted by police on Facebook.

“I feel violated," she said. “I feel like I failed my daughters. I feel anxiety going out now. I feel like someone will try to take pics or video of my daughters. Who knows what the guy is doing with those pictures?”

The woman said another shopper confronted the man and yelled at him. The man then fled the store.

Police released surveillance video of the man, who they are calling a person of interest. They described him as a man in his late 40s wearing a dark coat and tan pants.
