Search Continues for Missing Teen 35 Years Later

The search continues for a Lehigh County teen who went missing over three decades ago.

Robert Keck of Coopersburg, Pa. was last seen on June 30, 1979. On Monday, the 35th anniversary of the teen’s disappearance, police announced that the investigation was still active.

“Various law enforcement agencies participated in a four-day search in May 2014 for evidence in connection with the disappearance of Robert Keck,” said Lehigh County District Attorney James Martin. “Unfortunately that search proved fruitless.”

Upper Saucon Township police and Lehigh County detectives remain in contact with Keck’s family as the investigation continues.

“Law enforcement agencies are still diligently following up on any leads, and it is my hope that at some point, we will be able to conclude the investigation and provide Robert Keck’s family with answers concerning his disappearance,” Martin said.

If you have any information on Keck’s disappearance, please call Upper Saucon Township Detective Tom Nicoletti at 610-282-3064 or Lehigh County Detective Joseph Vazquez at 610-782-3831.
