Authorities are trying to determine what caused an Easter morning fire that spread to adjacent houses, destroying four units.

The fire broke out just after 5 a.m. Sunday in a home on 75th Street near Central Avenue in Sea Isle City. Wind drove the flames over to neighboring properties leaving four residential properties "a total loss," Sea Isle police said in a news release.

A firefighter was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. There was no word on his condition.

No other injuries were reported.

Cape May County fire investigators would be determining a cause for the blaze.
