Screaming Man Found Bound, Masked

The man told police he was abducted by five men and dumped in Southwest Center City

A screaming man was found bound with a mask on his face in Southwest Center City a little after 5:30 a.m. Friday, according to police.

Investigators say the victim told them he was abducted by five men from his home on the 5100 block of Walker Street in the Frankford section of the city.

Police tell NBC10 that less than half an hour before finding the man, they were called to the Walker Street address for reports of a home invasion.

Around 4:30 a.m., two armed, masked men broke into the home and stole $3000 cash, according to authorities. That's when the armed men allegedly abducted the victim. He told investigators the suspects forced him out of the car on 24th Street where police found him screaming with a mask on his face and his hands tied behind his back.

Police say the suspects were weaing all black clothing with ski masks.

An investigation into the incident is underway.
