Reward Offered for Torso in Bag Information

The torso was found the day after Christmas. Officials say the victim had been dead for at least a few weeks.

Police in northeastern Pennsylvania have announced a reward for information in the case of a human torso found in garbage bags along the road.

Monroe County Crime Stoppers is offering the reward in the case of the remains found the day after Christmas along Route 191 in Paradise Township in the Pocono Mountains.

The county coroner has ruled the death a homicide. Officials have not commented on the cause of death.

Officials say the man was 25 or older, has a chest scar indicating surgery and had been dead at least a couple of weeks.
