Rescued Ducklings Return to the Wild

Four ducklings rescued from a storm drain in Delaware now have a second chance at life.

WDEL-AM reports that the ducks are now six weeks old and have been released back into the wild.

The Tri-State Bird Rescue was called in June when people spotted the birds running through drain pipes between sewers along Route 141 near Prices Corner. Representatives of the group lifted the storm drain and rescued the tiny birds.

Since the ducklings' mother couldn't be found, the rescue organization has been caring for them until they were old enough to be returned to the wild.
