Someone Stuffs Woman's Body in Recycling Bin in Allentown

Officials searched for clues in the suspicious death of a woman whose body was found stuffed in a recycling container in the Lehigh Valley.

Someone found the unidentified woman's body inside a large blue recycling bin in a parking lot on the 800 block of East Tilghman Street in Allentown around 2:45 p.m. Sunday.

Investigators called her death suspicious and Lehigh County Coroner Scott Grim planned an autopsy for Tuesday.

Investigators described the woman described as an Asian woman between the ages of 18 and 30 who stood between 5-foot and 5-foot-1 and weighed about 119 pounds with short black hair and pink fingernail polish. The body had blue pantyhose stockings, black dress pants, a green sweater with a white collar and white cuffs, a black bra, black and white “Nike” baseball sneakers and a silver necklace.
