A walk after getting a bite to eat on a nice night turned into a nightmare for a Southwest Philadelphia couple Tuesday after a young man allegedly raped the woman while her boyfriend was forced to watch.
Around 10 p.m. a man and his girlfriend in their 30s or 40s were walking down the 4700 block of Springfield Avenue when a gun-toting teenager and his young accomplice -- possibly just 13 years old -- forced them into a backyard and robbed them, Philadelphia Police said.
The alleged robbers took everything on the couple including her purse, the male victim said.
The older of the two alleged robbers appeared to know exactly what he was doing.
“He’s a professional, he's crossing his T’s and dotting his I’s. He knew what to check for and he knew how to control the situation.”
The older-looking assailant then proceeded to rape the woman while holding a gun to her boyfriend's head, the boyfriend said.
The boyfriend (who asked not to be identified) was forced to watch the whole sexual assault, he said.

"She kept begging that she needed me, so that’s why I just tried to follow what he said, get through this and get away."
Before the sexual assault began the younger suspect asked his friend to stop, the boyfriend said.
“He was pleading with him right there,” the victim said. “He was 10 feet from him. He says, “come on, we got everything we wanted. Let’s go.”
After the assault, the younger suspect didn't say anything but he returned a pack of cigarettes he had just taken to the boyfriend, the victim added.
The two suspects got away on foot.
The boyfriend felt that the younger alleged robber has a conscience.
"If I can appeal to that kid to do something... he could save a life, maybe he would just say something."
