It’s like a scene out of Mission Impossible, except the star is a groundhog scaling library walls and unsuccessfully falling from the ceiling into nearby offices. The culprit? Punxsutawney Phil!
The famous groundhog apparently is sick of the spotlight and wants his freedom! Who could blame him, right?
So, over the past two weeks, Phil has tried to escape three times from his man-made home in the Punxsutawney Library, according to the Express-Times.
He climbs to the ceiling and only gets about 50 feet across before falling.
Don’t worry. Phil has not been hurt, but employees are nervous he could injure himself and are trying to put an end to his escape attempts.
