Woman Stabbed During Possible Road Rage Incident in Delaware: Police

Delaware State Police say a woman was stabbed during a possible road rage incident.

Police say troopers were called to South DuPont Highway on Sunday for a report of a woman who was stabbed during an altercation at a red light. The 36-year-old woman was taken to a hospital, where police say she was in stable condition.

Police say the encounter escalated from profane language and hand gestures to two women getting out of one vehicle and attacking a passenger in the other. Police say as the passenger tried to get out, she was stabbed.

The three women separated and drove away. When the passenger realized she had been stabbed, her daughter pulled over and called 911.
