Trio Makes Off With Money, Lottery Tickets After South Philly Home Invasion

Philadelphia police are searching for three suspects after a home invasion Friday morning.

Police say three men stormed a house in the middle of the 2400 block of South Sheridan Street in South Philadelphia.

Investigators said there was a scuffle inside the house in which shots were fired, but no one was hit.

When police arrived, two of the five victims showed facial injuries, but police say they refused medical assistance.

Police say the suspects ran off with a cell phone, jewelry and a safe containing lottery tickets and several hundred dollars.

Officers have responded to trouble at the home in the past, they said.
