Police are searching for a missing 74-year-old Camden County man.
Lindenwold Police say Warner Carter was last seen at his home on the 600 block of Hawthorn Avenue in Lindenwold, NJ around 10:25 a.m. Thursday. Detectives say Carter and his wife had been outside collecting leaves before he walked away. Police were notified about two hours later and conducted a search in the neighborhood.
Carter is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and they is a real concern for his safety. He was last seen wearing a red and white striped dress shirt, khaki jeans, and tan loafer shoes. He is retired from the New Jersey Bus Transit System and has been known to take rides on the buses. He is likely to get off anywhere, police say.
Police say Carter has several serious medical conditions which require medications be taken throughout the day; his last dose was sometime Thursday morning.
