NJ Emergency Crew Stole From Squad: Police

Both were key members of the Pemberton organization.

Two key members of the Pemberton, New Jersey First Aid and Emergency Squad are accused of stealing from their organization starting in February of this year.

Brandon T. Morrison was the group's Treasurer and Jonathan L. Hinshaw was the President.

Morrison, 21, is accused of buying a laptop computer, knives, clothing, boots and other unapproved items worth nearly $20,000 with squad funds. He's charged with theft and impersonation.

Morrison forged checks to pay for the goods, according to the Burlington County Prosecutor's office.

Hinshaw, 24, is accused of accepting a forged check, made out to him for $485.

Both men were volunteers. They were arrested on Wednesday.
