Brawl at Center City Sips Happy Hour Draws Police Attention

Philadelphia police are investigating a fight that disrupted a popular Center City happy hour promotion.

Video posted to Twitter by a man named Eric Neefe shows several young men brawling about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Comcast Center.

The Center City District has promoted the Center City Sips event for about 11 years. The group says it "regrets that inappropriate behavior by six individuals in a 20-second event'' that disrupted the promotion which reportedly drew about 3,000 young professionals to about 90 bars and restaurants after work.

Police are hoping to identify the men in the video.

Alex Plotkin, the owner of Chops -- the restaurant where the fight broke out -- says he already employs security guards and will add more. He also says those involved in the fight will be banned from his establishment.
