Police say a man went into a store on the 800 block of Lancaster Avenue in Devon and told workers there he was a representative from the Vitamix Company, according to an article in the Patch.com.
It happened on the afternoon of March 30. Tredyffrin Police told the Patch.com the man informed employees that the company wanted him to pull ten blenders from the shelf.
A manager at Vitamix confirmed there were no instructions for anyone to do this, according to the website.
Police told the Patch.com that the blenders are worth $5,000.
