Police Dog Needs Your Help

Help Elli on her road to recovery

Deputy Elli of the Delaware County Sheriff’s K-9 Unit needs your help.

She’s 4-years-old, and has served for three of them. Elli is an explosive detection and tracking dog, and Delaware County officials call her essential to their protection services.

But her career is in danger; she recently received a hip replacement and is in need of physical therapy treatments before she can make a full recovery. Authorities hope to rely on Elli for many years to come, but cannot do so until she completes therapy.

The Delaware County Sheriff’s office is asking you to help out in any way you can.
