The crash of two Philadelphia Police cruisers sends three officers to the hospital Monday afternoon, according to officials.
The cars collided at 50th and Haverford Avenues in West Philly around 4:30 p.m.
Rescuers had to pull the officers from their cars. They were responding to a call when the crash happened, police said.
The officers were taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
One officer had a head injury. The two other officers were reported to have head and neck pain, police said.
Two of the officers were released from the hospital Monday night. The third is being kept overnight for observation.
