Police Catch Stray Pygmy Goat Wandering Near South Jersey Hospital, Looking for His Owner

Officials in South Jersey are trying to find the owner of a pygmy goat found wandering around a Cumberland County town.

The wayward goat was spotted walking along Irving Avenue near Inspira Hospital in Bridgeton, New Jersey early Tuesday morning, police said.

Officials initially identified the animal as a ram, but animal control later clarified.

Bridgeton Police Officers Jonathon Hovermann and Jennifer Skala were able to nab the black and white colored goat, which they nicknamed "Burgy," and took him to the county SPCA office in Vineland.

"Burgy's" owner is asked to call the SPCA to get him back.
