Plymouth Township Accident Injures 2, Brings Down Power Lines

A person was extracted from their car overnight Thursday after it crashed into a pole and flipped onto its roof on a busy Montgomery County road.

A man and a woman were inside the vehicle when it hit a pole and flipped on Germantown Pike near Hallowell Rd. in Plymouth Township. The impact of the crash cracked the utility pole and brought down wires causing power outages in the area, officials said.

While on its roof, one of the people in the car was extracted. Both the man and woman were transported to Paoli Hospital with non-life threatening injures, according to police.

PECO was on scene making repairs. One lane on both sides of Germantown Pike is closed while repairs are made.
