A New Jersey high school principal was arrested for alleged child porn.
Police executed a search warrant at the home of Edward Bonek, 48, in Absecon, New Jersey, Wednesday morning.
Bonek was taken into custody and charged with possession of child pornography, official misconduct and other related offenses.
Bonek had just completed his first full year as principal of Pleasantville High School after having previously serving there as vice principal. School district officials have not discussed Bonek's employment status following his arrest.
He was taken to the Atlantic County Justice facility. It wasn't known if he's retained an attorney.
