A Pittsburgh man has been arrested on charges he robbed a city bank and another in the suburbs in about one hour after claiming he had a bomb at each.
Online court records don't list an attorney for 28-year-old Christopher Wallace, who was awaiting arraignment early Friday.
Police say he was arrested Thursday at a hospital where he was being treated for a head injury from an unspecified incident.
The robberies happened Tuesday afternoon. The first one shortly after 1 p.m. at the First Commonwealth Bank in the city's Lawrenceville section and the second at a PNC Bank branch in neighboring Penn Hills just after 2 p.m.
