Driver Transforms Pittsburgh Bus Into Christmas Wonderland for 10th Season

Those riding the bus in the Pittsburgh area are in for quite a surprise this holiday season.

Forty-seven-year-old Bill Sanfilippo, a Port Authority bus driver, has again transformed his bus into a Christmas wonderland, filling unsuspecting riders with delight and cheer. He says he's been decorating his bus since he was hired as a driver 10 years ago in Allegheny County.

This year it took him more than 10 hours to install lights, a life-sized Santa, a red-nosed Rudolph and more holiday doo-dads than he's ever installed before. He also plays holiday music.

Sanfilippo is also known as "The Candy Man'' because he used to hand out treats, but has resumed offering candy canes during this holiday season.

Sanfilippo says he simply loves Christmas and hopes his decorations get peoples' minds on the holiday and off the "bad things going on around the world.''
