Philly Man Arrested for Stalking “Law & Order” Star: Police

Actress Kathryn Erbe is in the midst of her own real-life crime drama

She plays Detective Alexandra Eames on NBC’s “Law & Order: Criminal Intent,” but now, actress Kathryn Erbe is in the middle of her own real-life crime drama, according to the New York Post.

Last Tuesday, Charles Nagel, 33, a resident of the Northeast, was arrested on charges of stalking the 44-year-old divorced mother of two who lives in Brooklyn.

Nagel, a self-described entertainer who goes by the name Chaz Rose, has allegedly been stalking Erbe for three years, traveling to the New York "Criminal Intent" set as well as the set in California, sources told the Post.

He also made posts to a Myspace blog devoted to the star and to the show (the page was recently shut down) and sent letters and emails.

"He sent her letters of adulation for years about how much he loved her ... he was totally obsessed," a source told the Post

Erbe kept the network and private security abreast of the situation as soon it began, but in the last few weeks, the situation turned even scarier when Erbe’s family was mentioned in the “love letters.”

That’s when the ‘Law & Order’ star turned to the real-life New York Police Department and after a quick investigation, the alleged stalker was arrested at his Philadelphia home with an NYPD warrant and is awaiting extradition, reports the paper.
