A 19-year-old woman has admitted to stabbing and killing another teenager during an early morning brawl in a north Philadelphia parking lot last year.
Prosecutors told Philly.com Tuesday that Keyarra Frisby faces five to 10 years behind bars when she's sentenced in June. She pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter and possession of an instrument of crime in the death of 17-year-old Anita Cotton in Hunting Park in July.
Authorities say it started when two groups of girls got into a fight. Officers broke up the fight, but it started up again as the teenagers got off a transit line.
At one point during the fight, police say Frisby stabbed Cotton in the neck. Officers passing by saw the crowd and found Cotton lying in a pool of blood. She died a short time later.
