2 Die in Separate Philly Shootings

The men die in separate shootings in Philadelphia Sunday night.

Police investigated two separate deadly shootings in Philadelphia Sunday night.

The first shooting occurred on the 1800 block of West Grange Avenue in East Germantown at 8:21 p.m. Najir Peterson was shot multiple times. He was taken to the Einstein Medical Center where the 20-year-old was pronounced dead a short time later.

A second shooting occurred on the 3800 block of Brown Street in Mantua around 9 p.m. Lee Arvie was shot three times in the chest and taken to the Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where doctors declared the 27-year-old dead a short time later.

Teen Boys Shot in North Philadelphia

No arrests have been made in either shooting and police have not released descriptions of suspects.

Besides the two deadly shootings, there were two other shootings and stabbing overnight in Philadelphia, police said.
