Philadelphia Auto Show Hits Highest Attendance In 10 Years

A record number of visitors pulled up to this year's Philadelphia Auto Show, which crossed the finish line with its highest attendance in over a decade.

The U.S. automobile industry hit a record last year when 17.5 million new vehicles were sold, according to the Auto Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia, which also said the five-country region also hit one of its highest totals as well, at 196,000 new vehicles s

This year's Philadelphia Auto Show, which ran Jan. 28 through Feb. 5, followed suit by setting its own records.

About 253,191 people attended this year's show, which spanned across a 700,000-square-foot display floor at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, generating about $50 million in economic impact.
