Phila. Officer Honored During President's Speech

Philadelphia police officer Richard Decoatsworth was honored Tuesday night during President Obama's speech, receiving a warm greeting from First lady Michele Obama.

Decoatsworth was shot in the face in 2007 during a traffic stop in West Philadelphia. Despite his injuries, he manged to chase down the perp and radio in a detailed description before collapsing to the ground.

Decoatsworth, who was invited to the speech by Vice President Joe Biden, sat between the first lady and Doctor Jill Biden.
