Teen Bicyclist Shot in the Head

A teen bicyclist is fighting for his life after he was struck in the head during a shooting in Chester.

Police say the 17-year-old boy was riding his bike on the 1100 block of Concord Avenue Wednesday around 12:15 p.m. when an unidentified man opened fire.

The teen was struck once in the back of the head and the gunman fled the scene. The victim was taken to the hospital where he is currently in critical condition. According to officials, the teen victim is from the Toby Farms development of Chester Township.

No arrests have been made. Police say the suspect is a man in his late teens to early 20's.
