A homicide investigation is underway after a man was killed at a senior living community in King of Prussia and the remains of the suspected killer -- the victim's wife -- were pulled from the Schuylkill River, police said.
On Sunday morning, law enforcement officials in Montgomery County said that the incident unfolded after police responded to the FedEx warehouse in Upper Dublin at about 9:30 a.m. on Saturday after a man reported that his mother, Tonya Dupree, 57, of King of Prussia, called him out of work and pointed a gun to his head.

However, officials said the man was able to wrestle the firearm away from Dupree and she fled the scene before police arrived.

At about 10:15 a.m., that day, police conducted a welfare check at Dupree's residence at Canvas Valley Force senior living community in King of Prussia where, officials said, they found the body of Robert Dupree, 62, after he had been shot to death.
Then, just about an hour later, police recovered the body of Tonya Dupree in the Schuylkill River near the 4500 block of Kelly Drive in Philadelphia, officials said.
