Pennsylvania Officials Want to Keep Powdered Alcohol Away From Children

Could the emerging product powdered alcohol be banned in Pennsylvania?

State Sen. Shirley Kitchen (D-Phila.) hosted a roundtable discussion Thursday to talk about the potential impact of powdered alcohol for individuals in the state.

The public hearing took place in the Temple University Student Center Underground Room of the Howard Gittis Student Center at 11 a.m.

'Palcohol' as it is sometimes called, has not yet been approved by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board for sale in stores. Sen. Kitchen has proposed legislation that would criminalize its distribution or possession for minors.
