Crews Pull Woman from Delaware River at Penn's Landing

A woman is fighting for her life after she was pulled out of the Delaware River at Penn’s Landing.

On Saturday around 10:35 a.m., the Philadelphia Police Marine Unit responded to a report of an unidentified woman who jumped into the Delaware River south of the skating rink at Penn’s Landing. The Marine Unit pulled the woman out of the water and performed CPR. She was then transported to Hahnemann Hospital where she was revived and placed in critical condition.

Officials say the woman, who is in her late 50s, is known to frequent Penn’s Landing but has not been identified.
