Pedestrian Flown to Hospital After Being Hit by School Bus

A medical helicopter flew a pedestrian to the hospital after they were hit by a school bus at a busy Clementon, New Jersey intersection Friday afternoon.

The pedestrian, whose age and gender hasn't been released, was hit while crossing the White Horse Pike at Brand Avenue just before 4:30 p.m., Camden County emergency dispatchers tell NBC10.

The victim was unconscious when medics arrived at the scene. They were flown to a nearby hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries and current condition were not immediately known.

The bus remained at the scene. The circumstances that led to the crash are under investigation.
